The parquet flooring's history

Parquet flooring first appeared in the 17th century. We can find mostly Versailles parquet in French palaces, châteaux or stately homes. Hungarian point parquet, a classic of traditional French parquet flooring, was commonly used by the architect Baron Haussmann in prestigious Parisian apartments. Herringbone parquet, which can be found in many Brussels apartments, differs from Hungarian point parquet because it is created with rectangular strips.
Our three ranges of parquet flooring are available only in solid hardwood and are compatible with underfloor heating.
